I used to live in Haymarket, I love the little town, you blink your eye and you have missed it. I would love to return to visit and check out some of the newer buildings and businesses that have come there since I moved.
Haymarket, Virginia is located off of route 66, near Gainesvile, Virginia. The town is currently undergoing revitilization, with newer building lining washington street. New shops have just opened up at the corner of Washington street and old carolina....Here are some of the local events in Haymarket.

"Art Display in the main office this months featured artis is Marsha Tisch.
Here is some information about the artitist: In 1978, Marsha graduated from Interior Designers Guild with a degree in Fine Art and Interior Design.
She worked in Beverly Hills, CA and did interior design work for Tom Jones, Goldie Hawn, and James Farentino,"to name a few.
Her painting are Impressionists paintings and were created from actual places, photos or magazine photos.
Old Tyme Movie night will resume in the Fall of 2007.
