It was another beautiful yet mysterious and scary Halloween evening in Cave Junction, Oregon. It is a Harland family tradition to carve lots of pumpkins. Here are a few of this years favorites. As you can tell we are big Tim Burton fans.

Douglas - I'm just now noticing your pumpkins. I'm amazed at the artistic ability of the carvers. The last picture is amazing.
Hey, Douglas. I see your comment about your daughter carving the last picture. That seems to indicate that you let a woman loose with a knife. Are you sure that's safe for all the guys in your family? LOL

Wow! Those are nice pumpkins. Looks loke they took a lot of time to do. Must have been a fun night as a family.
Douglas, My grandchildren carved pumpkins this year and they did some pretty interesting carvings also. These are great. Thanks for sharing them.
Amazing carving job, extend your season: you should give ice carving a try too. LOL
