Colorado Fall Foliage At Twin Lakes, CO

Fall is arguably the most beautiful time of year in Colorado.  As lovely as the changing aspen leaves are in their own right, when the backdrop includes lakes and mountains, the view is absolutely breathtaking.

We took these photos at Twin Lakes in Lake County, Colorado.

You have made me homesick...I used to live in Leadville, and I left my heart there.  We just visited less than a month ago, and the color was still beautiful!

Glad you got to see the colors!  We absolutely love Twin Lakes, and when we visit, often get the chance to take a drive to Leadville.
