I have got to say that rentals are pretty active right now in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. There are quite a few times in the last several weeks that we have made appointments to show a property to a rental client and the property has gone under lease just before our appointment. I have had clients in the 1400 price range and also the 800 to 1000 price range with this experience. Now might be a great time for investors who have wanted to start a rental portfolio.

I am wondering if the rental business will be brisk for the next 3 years? Since 36 months is about how long a short sale will keep you from getting a mortgage? Some of my tenant clients have been short sale survivors, some were just not yet ready to make a purchase.
