Newbie needs help!

By
Real Estate Agent with Royal LePage Campbell River, Vancouver Island

I am absolutely new to this as I was just put onto active rain this morning by a friend.

I find it very intruging and hope to become actively involved.

Maybe someone out there could steer me in the right direction.

Life is not measure by the number of breaths that you take, but bt the moments that take your breath away

Read through today's list, there is a great one I read that really helped me out and I bookmarked.  Sorry, don't remember whose it was.  I'm new at this as well.

Doug it depends on how much you want to put into it.  You can get points in several ways.  Like posting pictures to localism, or posting communities as well.  Write blogs with good content and you'll get bonus points.  Develop your profile and make it shine.  Also link your website to AR for extra points as well.

Hi, Doug!  Points are fun, but contact brings in business!  (OK, argue with me that points raise you up in the network and GET you more contact ... )  Have fun with your blog, write about whatever you especially like and make sure people know how you feel about it.  Choose a topic that interests you.  Since it's your blog, you get to make your own writing assignments.  It's great fun to work for yourself, isn't it?  Read other people's blogs, Subscribe to the ones you like (click that button right above their picture when you're reading their blog) and just soak it all in.  This is a great network full of people who will share ideas and offer advice.  I hope you really enjoy it.  Let the addiction begin!

Hi Doug,

I'm new as well and have really enjoyed reading other peoples posts.  So far I have been a little shy about posting my own blogs, but I am slowing getting my feet wet.  Enjoy

The right direction?  Head south... when you start running into people that do not say "eh" and "aboot"....you've found the US.

Welcome aboard.

Thank you to everyone for your support and direction, this "AR thing" can seem very overwhelming, but I am chipping away at it. Stay tuned as I plan to jump in with both feet soon.

In the meantime if you would like to see some photos of this most wonderful part of the world, a quick visit to www.campbellriverconnects.com will do.

Thanks again

Thank you all for your support and encouragement, sorry I dropped off.

I have been away in Southern California at a Brian Buffini conference, very cool way of looking at "the business".

No new and profound  magic pill, just good old fashion working your data base and going deep with the people that  aready know you.

P.S. Love being home in  CANADA, we were very well treated in the "good ole US",  but there is no place like Vancouver Island
