Sales are down down down! It has been quite slow for me the past 3 months. I currently have 1 listing under contract and 1 active listing. I have a few listings coming up and I am working with 6 active buyers. Most folks are hesitant to act right now.
I hear rumors about offices around town on the verge of closing their doors. Large brokerages basically laying off sales people, sending them searching for a new office. Lots of turmoil. I have seen no less that 10 agents escape the business in the past few weeks, taking other jobs. I do have some hope that with the election over many people will settle down and plan smartly for their future. Of course we hope that planning include purchasing a home as this will strengthen our economy.
