100th Member was Invited and Joined Today!!!

By
Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed

Today, at 3:15 pm, I had my 100th member sign up on Active Rain.  His name is Zack
He and his wife Christine are an awesome couple who do very well in the Real Estate Business.  He mentioned a couple of keywords today that made me think of Active Rain, and why I should invite him on board.

He talked about referrals, networking and marketing.  I told him and his wife about "The Network", and he signed right up.  I really like this couple, they were warm, welcoming, very professional, successful, and they called "out of the blue" to meet with me today.  I was honored to be the one to introduce this to them, and now, I am honored to introduce them to you.

Please join me in welcoming my 100th guest, Mr and Mrs. Zack and Christine Childress.
(the crowd roars)

I didn't even realize until I got home this evening and started responding to comments, that they were number 100.  Where has the time gone, it was just 7 weeks ago when Dustin Luther invited me to Active Rain.  This is a special time and good cause for celebration.  Thanks Zack and Christine for meeting with me today, I look forward to seeing you guys again on Thursday, and most importantly, welcome to Active Rain.  You are going to love this place, the people, the referrals, the networking, the technology and benefits, and best of all, you're going to have fun!!

Oh and one more plus... it was FREE!  Best of luck to you both, and Welcome!!

Brad, way to go!  I need to take lessons from you.  I've invited well over 100 but have only had 8 or so sign up.  Must be in my delivery =)

A big welcome to Zack and Christine.  In addition to the great links (and you'll find many more out there) I'd like to add moderation.  This place can get pretty addictive real fast!  I look forward to learning more about you both.

Wow Brad. You have done well after only 7 weeks. This is a people business and you certainly have a good handle on that.

Hey, Dan - I resemble that fact.  I am here just under both our names.  You should clear that up otherwise members would think you have some kind of split personality  disorder!

Sorry Brad - Congartulations on your 100th member - that must be some kind of record.

Luke - In Hawaii, we call it musubi, not spam.  They add rice and seaweed to enhance it!  Get it?

Dan - No strong arm neccessary, but you better get Sandra some flowers and give her 1000 bonus points before she starts that rumor of your split personality disorder.  LOL  :-)  Thanks to you both!!

  Brad..

I already gave her 1000 points in the form of 5 easy blog ideas.

Do you think a patch of seaweed will work?  Kind of resembles flowers...

Hope she does't resent the humor...

Wow!  That's amazing.  I've sent out emails to tons of people asking them to join.  Apparently my letter isn't an effective one.  Brad do you have an invite letter example that you could share with the community?

Dan - I was thinking more like

points =

and seaweed on steroids =

I'm not a marriage counselor....     (Big Smile) Let Sandra know these are for her....then you
get the 1000 points!!   :-)

Michael, I don't have a canned letter per say, I just use the "invite others" in the AR "My Home" page.  I have also sent out numerous emails to past clients and friends in the industry.  I wasn't really tracking the sign-ups, I didn't even know how for the first couple weeks.  Now I do check and add the invitees as associates when they join.  I can do a post later that will be an "Invitation Post".  Thanks for the great idea and thanks for your comment.  It's appreciated.

Sandra - Don't get the boss upset with me.  He's the man!!
I know that in my home, I am the head of the house, but MY WIFE is the neck!!!  That means..... she turns the head!!  (Big Smile)

Dan- the thought of seaweed is definately a memory that can last a lifetime. LOL But you are right once again, it's ALWAYS the thought and "comments" that count.  Be good!!   Brad   (You both ROCK!!)

Hey All -

I met with Zack again this morning and shared that I had done this post about him.  I shared that he was my 100th invitee.  He hasn't seen it yet so I need to get him online and complete his profile. Then I'll slip him the ole bookmark tag on this post.  Next, we'll have betting contest, to see how long it takes him to find this.  (What Jonathan? No online gambling? Oh well)  Thanks for ALL your comments and Zack and Christine will thank you too....soon I hope.  :-)
