Why do they go out

Why is it that when you least can afford the time and money that the household appliances

decide to break?

It is very cold and windy today and at the last minute my 17 year old son decides to

wash his work clothes. With no time to spare he puts them in the washer and it won't

spin the water out. I am off to an appointment that is in another town and here we are

ringing out his pants and shirt for work. Well he made it half wet. Why don't they go out

on a day when you really don't need them.

Sandy - I think it's know as Murphy's law..."if anything can go wrong, it will."

Joyce - Edward Murphy was an aerospace engineer.  The phrase comes from comments he made when the tests of meaurement devices he was designing, kept failing.

Well, I see the problem:

"....my 17 year old son decides to wash his work clothes."

Huh? Who has a 17-year-old son that actually washes clothes? Your washing machine was not prepared for that type of shock. Never, ever let a teenager get at your major appliances! LOL

Sandy the problem is as with anything "when we least expect it everything happens". Well, it seems to happen that way anyway.
