Keeping up With The Joneses

Stretched Thin

I talked to two people today who canceled their cable. I also canceled my cable this week. I don't have time for cable anymore because I am working twice as hard. I am working to keep up with the Tech. world in real estate.

My understanding is that the new age of real estate has a hot core through the www. Now as I sign onto my AR account I see that I have the outside blogs and the listing router on my toolbar. I have read a post by Bob Stewart on the Listing Router setup but I am still clueless as to how it works or what it means.

I only recently set up two outside blogs to send to but I have yet to get it properly working through AR.

I also recently started reading  Jason Crouch's blog. He knows every social internet networking trick in the universe.

I want to take advantage of all the possible markets for my clients. I want to know all the possible venues for getting my listing noticed by the world. I want to be able to tap into the most motivated and qualified buyer leads. I know how but it is going to take some time. The tools are abundant.

I should wrap this up as I have to call the cell phone company and turn back on my texting so I can setup my twitter account and I also need to hit my facebook account for a while before I update my Truila listings. And then I need to do a little research on how to give my blogs entries that artistic balanced chiseled look.

Sabrina ~ I think the key is to take a deep breath and move one step at a time. Clearly there is a lot of work to do.

I am laughing as I remember those days so well.  There are a lot of very good Blogs on here for tech stuff....have you read Bill Gassette?  I have so many of his Posts Bookmarked, and Ryan Martin just did a nice Video (in the e-PRO Group) for Twitter.  But really what I want to say is one step at a time :)  Forget those Jone's they burn out pretty quick....find a pace that's a good balance with your other responsibilities and stick to it.

Thank you for the overwhelming support. Now, I must be off to explore the video of Ryan Martin and the blogs of Bill Gassette. I am looking to finding my center but in the mean time thanks for all of the "Support" while I am still scrambling about and wobbling around.

Hi Sabrina~ I stopped by to thank you for reading and commenting on my post earlier.  I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule.  There are so many important things we need to do to be the best Realtor possible.  I say just take one step at a time and build your skills.  I would like to recommend that you visit Brad Andersohn's posts as he has many useful tutorials that will make your journey to being the "Best Realtor" and being "Internet Savvy"  a whole lot easier!

Vickie,

I will check out Brad Andersohn's post asap. Most of the responses to my blog have had a central theme running through them. I am going to take it one step at a time. I strive daily to be the best Uber (where are my special characters when I need them?) Realtor that I can be. Thanks for the always welcome encouragement.

Sabrina good luck to you. It is a good goal to set to get in gear for all that is around us. I personally do not think I could give up cable as I love to watch tv into the night and "nothing would be on" then.

I hear you, Sabrina! All this 'keeping up' is nuts! BTW, Cheryl suggested getting together sometime, good idea! Perhaps sometime you'll be going to town anyway, lunch at Colo Wines?
