- Tip #9 – Lead Follow-up
So, you've paid through the nose for the fancy website and lead capture forms, etc...you're getting leads...look - see them in there? Aren't they cute???
Capturing those leads is nothing but a frustration for the captured little fellas and a big 'ol waste of time for you if you're not going to follow up with them in the attempt to convert them from a lead to a client (principal)!
How do you do that? Well...you have to strike while the fire is hot, that's for sure! As soon as those leads come in, you should be putting them into a contact management program into a campaign that will continue to follow up with them, at least once a week for the next 8 weeks, then you can cut back to once a month through your normal newsletter, postcards, holiday cards, etc... You cannot just lump them all into a single campaign either! You should have one for buyers and sellers.
Once these leads are in a campaign, you can sit back and wait for more to come in! If you don't have these campaigns set up in your Contact Management system already, what are you waiting for? This is one of those great time-consuming tasks to setup that is well passed off to your Real Estate Virtual Assistant (you knew I would throw that in somewhere ;-) Have them set up the campaigns in your system and then either you or they can just assign the new leads / contacts into the proper campaigns as they come in.
Those little leads are too precious to just let them be wasted! Follow-up and convert!!!
As always, if you don't have a Real Estate Virtual Assistant, feel free to contact me through the links at the right...or you can visit the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce and look for a Real Estate VA there.
- Tipsy #9 – White Flower Bramble
This recipe was given to me by one of my mentors (recipe originally from Notcot.com), she loves it. I honestly haven't tried it yet, but it's my friend's 12th wedding anniversary this weekend, so I think I might pick up the ingredients and make them for the get-together! Let me know how you like it if you make it!
- 1-1/2 oz. No. 209 gin or Square One organic vodka
- 3/4 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
- Izze sparkling blackberry
- Fresh raspberries or blackberries
- Garnish: white edible flower (chamomile or lemon verbena)
- shake all liquids (except Izzy) with ice, strain into a highball glass over ice. Add a few berries, top with blackberry soda and add garnish.
