How to Know When to Catch A Wave...Or When Is the Right Time to Buy? Sell?

Wipeout…You Can Survive…

BostonKayakGuy has been known to surf some pretty awesome waves in his kayak.

But Kerby Brown, an Australian who was seeking the “biggest” wave for an Oakley Surfing Life Big Wave Awards competition, found himself riding an incredible 40+ foot monster, located at a secret reef location.

When his board went out from under him, Brown was catapulted into the deepest, blackest pounding of his life.

He went so deep under what he calls the “evil” wave, he didn’t think he’d surface.  But surface he did, straight to his brother Courtney who hauled him onto the jetski, torn shoulder muscles not withstanding.

The visual of his ride is just stunning…

Wipeout

A visual of the housing market over the past couple of years??  Perhaps...

We've crested the wave, we rode the curl, we plunged to the depths, and now we've broken through to the surface...

Yeah...the housing market is buoyant.  I strongly believe that this time period is one of tremendous real estate opportunity.

When your sellers ask, when is the right time to sell...NOW; it's always the opportune time when your home is priced right.

When your buyers ask, when is the right time to buy...NOW; prices are at the lowest they've been in years.  Interest rates are still incredibly low.

And the mindset that your house is a piggy bank has been given a reality check.  It's your home.  It's where you live your life.  It's where you raise your children, grow old, begin a marriage, welcome friends, entertain, relax, gather special moments, and count your blessings.

Homeowners' criteria substantially differs from the criteria of investors

An investment in buying a home is an investment in YOUR life

Your ROI can't be measured just on a balance sheet.

You are the principal shareholder in YOUR life.

So if you want to change your living environment, then do so.

Please yourself.  Live your life.  And you will be prosperous!

Experience Is Your Advantage

John, thanks for the video.

I totally agree with you that anytime is the right time to buy if your buying for the right reasons.  As you wrote "And the mindset that your house is a piggy bank has been given a reality check.  It's your home.  It's where you live your life.  It's where you raise your children, grow old, begin a marriage, welcome friends, entertain, relax, gather special moments, and count your blessings."

Copied your words again for emphasis for others reading your blog.

Good serfing, Bill
