A Big Thank You Goes Out To All Veterans!

I didn't want Veterans Day to end without paying my respects to all the dedicated men and women who gave their time and put their lives on the line for this country.  You are very appreciated.  I have many family members who were in the armed services and families need to be recognized on this day as well.  To all the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, wives, husbands and every other loved one who stayed home and kept things running smoothly while worrying non-stop while their soldier was far away working hard.  I cannot imagine the feeling of not being able to pick up the phone at any moment and talk to my loved ones on the other side.  Today is a day to remember all the sacrifices veterans and their families have made and continue to make for this country, but it should not be the only time we remember and appreciate these individuals.

I ended up spending Veterans Day on the phone calling every Veteran I knew and thanking them for their service. It was amazing some of the things I learned that I never knew about some of these people, including some of my own family members.
