THIS is Peter Ciurczak, from Edison, New Jersey. He is a Realtor who says that staging helps in more ways than just selling a home...WOW! We like this! He has noticed that sellers who come to his open houses talk about how nice the homes look and then he has the opportunity to tell them about his services, including home staging and he's getting more listings and making more money. THIS is NEWS. THIS is something you all have been wanting to hear from a Realtor, right? SO, perhaps you want to take this blog and show it to your target Realtors. The point is that there are many added benefits of staging that are as important as the actual staging as it relates to their client's satisfaction, their client's equity upon sale and the future of their marketing plan. Terrylynn, Realtors here definitely see the value in it--I believe some are having a difficult time trying to get the message through to their clients. But they support staging and know that homes sell faster--AND for more money in most cases!

We need more like this.

I suggest that we ask our Realtors that we have a good relationship with to please post their findings here on AR.

Kathy, I just wanted stagers to know that the light bulb is going on for some and that it will happen again and again. I was thrilled with the innocence in which he wrote this. It is charming and just how the evolution of thought occurs.

Carole, that's actually true, Realtors often DO get it to a much larger degree than stagers realize, it's often the circumstances or client that needs educating And it can be touchy how much to push. It's difficult especially so in these economic times. Oh you'll be entertained to know Chris has just analyzed her relationship corner...of the house...photos of cats and her daughter, which is great, but it explains why all the strays have kittens in her yard...just have some adorable ones we have to get homes for. She laughed about that one and is moving the cats photo tomorrow.

Michelle, the buzz is a good thing and I think AR was started on Buzz...it was a nice piece though how he actually seemed surprized and pleased with the result.

Linda, how right you are, and the key is getting the Realtor to "get that" and here's one who does. And I just loved how he wrote the post as his thought process was evolving and he was "getting it". It is charming.

It is absolutely a fact that staged homes feel warmer and more inviting. I've watched the difference it has on potential buyers many times. When a buyer walks into a well-staged home, they want to stay. The longer they stay in the home, the better the chance that they will buy it. GREAT STUFF! GBU~
