I am happy to see that the banks are starting to help home owners in distress to prevent some of these for-closers .i do have a problem with the method they are using .most banks are only talking to those who are at least two months behind in their mortgage payments,or telling callers to call back with they are in the rears by two months .with all the swinging arms loans that have been giving out in the past few yrs. would it not be a better plan to attack these before they get behind.there is a lot of stress out there now and its going to take a lot of work to get us out of the mess we and lenders have put ourselves in.i think we need to more aggressive in our approach to the problem .we as Realtors can not sit back and wait to see what the banks or government is going to do ,we need to make our voices hear and help out with the solution to help turn this market around .the more we press these issues that faster we can get back to doing what we do best selling houses
