I had a conversation today with someone who kept wishing that "the market" would come back; meaning the bull market that ended in the fourth quarter of 2005. That market is gone. It's not coming back. Ever.
The market is the market today, now; whenever "today" is. I think we'd all be a lot happier, if we would come to terms with that and live in the present and work with what we have to work with. This is much the same market we enjoyed in the early '80's and we accepted that and dealt with it; double-digit interest rates and all.
We are still making a good living selling real estate. Better than most. Just, not what we did in the early 2000's. It's ok. Embrace the change and get on with it!
