I just do not believe this is our responsibility to bail these homeowners out! I have to pay my mortgage payments just like the next person. I knew what I was signing, what my payments were and will be. I took the mortgage out with full knowledge that if I lost my business of which my income is derived, that I could still seek employment elsewhere to make my payments. I do not live out of my means!!

Karen, the entire bailout concept is misguided. Not only will it not do what the government said it would do--and they are changing the program again--they are unable to salvage an economy or stock market that must fall before it can recover. We'd be much better off if the government would refrain from meddling with the economy.
