A referral business-Does it work?

I have been a realtor for 3 years now.  I started with "100 Days to Greatness" with Buffini and Company within the first month.  I have been using the concepts and have worked by referral now for 3 years.  So far about 80% of my business comes to me by referral or repeat business.  I stay in touch through monthly mailing, a call and I try to "pop by" as well. I would say that the investment I made with Buffini was the best investment I made in my real estate business.   How about you?  What has worked to keep your business going in this market?

Thanks for the ideas.  I've heard a little about the concepts and it seems interesting.  Do you know if they sell any mini versions or just the cd's for starters?  Until I make some money, I can't spend much!

Well, no you could make up your own idea by staying in contact with clients regularly, but it does cost money to be a part of Buffini.  Look up any thing you can regarding working by referral and gleen information.  then apply that to your business.  Buffini is great though and i would highly reccomend it to ge the principles down.
