If You Buy First Class Postage in The Form of Stamps - Always Buy The Forever Stamps

Do you use postage stamps as postage instead of a postage meter?  When the post office raises their first class postage, do you have to buy a card of 1₵ stamps so you can use your first class stamps.  OR instead of going through that hassle, you  end up sticking 2 first class postage stamps on your envelopes?

A better alternative is to always buy the "FOREVER" Stamps.  The FOREVER stamps cost the same as the rate for first class postage, currently 42 cents and they are always good for first class postage even if the first class postage rate goes up.

SO if you're a stamp buyer for postage, buy the FOREVER STAMP for all of your first class postage!

Always use the postage stamp over a meter.  Some people won't open metered mail

I agree, always use a stamp if you can afford it. I throw away metered mail my self and I am sure our target audience does also!

Rich,  LOL I use the Forever Stamps and obviously don't have to worry about the 1 cent increase.  Thanks.  I've edited.

Judi -It seem like every time I go to get stamps, they don't have anymore of the forever stamps available.

Judi, I have a bad habit of every time I go to Costco or the Post Office and they ask me if I need stamps, I say sure. I have a bunch of 37, 39 and 41  cent stamps along with an assortment of post card stamps. I just add some one and two cent stamps to bring it up to 42. It brings attention to my mailings, I guess.
