Matt Wheeler (The Cornfed Project) of Aces High is a Mighty Fine Artist!

CornfedLast Saturday night I was immersed in local art at the "A Night In Fullerton".  It was so much fun and really got me thinking about how lucky I am to live in such a great town with art all around us.  From music to dance to painting to photography and everything else; Fullerton is an amazing example of a city with so much diverse art.

This made me think of my friend Matt Wheeler (AKA Cornfed Project).  This guy is just about one of the most talented artists I know.  Not only can he sing and play just about every instrument himself in his band - The Cornfed Project (He has other guys help out though because it would pretty tough to do everything all the time) but he can draw, paint and "ink" just about anything you can think of!

Most days you will find Matt working hard at Aces High Tattoo located right here in Fullerton.  Matt has a pretty big following so if you would like some work done, I suggest making your appointment in advance.  All the guys at Aces High are very talented and this shop was around long before so many other shops started popping up in Fullerton.Matt at Aces High

I knew Matt before he was a tattoo artist but he has always been talented with ink and whatever material he could put it to.  This guy will create a one of a kind masterpiece that will stay with you forever; just tell him what you are thinking and he will draw up your vision even better than you could imagine it.

One year, my group of friends decided to pick names for Christmas and the requirement was that we had to make something for the friend that we picked.  I was so lucky that Matt picked me!  I received a piece of art that I just love and cherish.  I was the lucky one that year!  Here it is:

Hi Cristal,

well written blog with great photo's. One thing I love about AR is reading about other towns and what are said about them. It makes me want to move about 20 times a year! ;)
