This morning finds me at Varsity soccer pratice. The temperature is 45 degree's. This is my son 7th grade team. As I sit here int he cold I notice that all the kids showed up for a Sunday morning practice. This is unusual for practiceon a Sunday morning with Church services being held across the parking lot.
THis has me reflecting on our business. In these tough times I have talk jiust this week to agents who are doing a variety of odd end work from substitute teaching for $9.81 per hour, BPO's for flat fee's and construction work. Although most will answer they are doing what they have to do to get by; I can understand. The holidays are coming.
Back to soccer practice, it is cold and I am out of coffee. These kids keep practicing and working hard. Theircoaches are out there as well. With this cold, the sun is shinning and it is peaceful. So when you think the chips are down remember the sun is still shinning and a fresh cup of coffee is nearby. As an old Vietnam era Sergeanttold us in the field once, when your facing with death stop and make a cup of coffee, it will help your reevaluate the situation. I tell that story often, his bottom line was that he was there to tell the story.
Tomorrow is Monday, and all we need is one more deal to close. I will do it!
Have a great week.
