IDX w/ RSS indexable feeds?

By
Real Estate Agent with Mark Ryan Group / Re/Max Victory

Looking for new IDX provider and want to find the best solution... From what I can find so far it looks like:

  1. 1 Park Place
  2. Diverse Solutions
  3. Real Estate Webmasters

are the "players"...

  1. Any others out there that anyone knows of?
  2. experience with any of the above?
  3. Tips, etc...

Please call me directly if you don't want to let your local competition know how great everything is...

Thanks!

I was looking into that awhile ago and I found RSS Pieces, its an active rain blogsite, I will look for the information but it was the best I found.  Brady

Brady,

I actually had a RSS Pieces site but the company went thru some major problems so I left them... they used the 1PP IDX feed.

It looks like they are a good option... what I don't like is that you have to / can only use the IDX feeds with the indexable option with an RSS pieces site or their blog solution... I would like to be able to use them anywhere...

Thanks for the tip... let me know if you find anything else new...

Hi Mark,

What did you end up doing with your IDX?

Mark - you cannot have what you are asking for without violating NAR's policy (and your own local IDX policy) with regards to protecting the listing data and only showing it on your own domain. When you get approval for a feed and a vendor it is FOR a specific domain - not for you to use the data any way you want.

Hope that helps clarify why the above vendor (And Real Estate Webmasters) states you can only house the data on sites that are compliant and controlled by the member / vendor.
