Do you pick up pennies?

I am asking today, "Do you pick up pennies?".  I find myself thrilled at the chance to pick up a lost penny.  I always stop and pick them up.  Do you?  I worked with a customer of mine recently who laughed at me for pickiing up pennies.  He told me that he hated pennies and frequently throws them out the window of his car.  I told him how thrilled I was that he did that because I must be the one who keeps finding them.  I find them everywhere.  They even show up on the beach with sand encrusted on them and I proudly take them home and scrap them off and stick them in my penny jar at home.  Are there other penny picker uppers out there like me?  It is like finding a four leaf clover, isn't it?  Makes you feel good to find it.  Do you also know if it is heads up or tails down that it can bring you good or bad luck for the day?  I hope you find your penny heads' up today.

Cha Ching!

Yes I too pick up pennies and I always get excited about finding them.  I started putting the change I found while on my morning walks in a baggie, and I told my husband that maybe one day I will have enough to take us on vacation.  Now wouldn't that be a hoot!!

Yes, my jar is filling up with pennies too.  I think one day in my late 90s I may finally have enough to go to to California on a much needed wine tour, LOL.

Thank you very much for your comment.  Have a great day.

When I receive change at the store I drop the pennies in the jar at the store and yet I am thrilled when I find pennies . I pick them up for I heard it is good luck.

Gina,

I pick up all loose change these days that I can find, smiling.  The most I ever found was $20.  It was blowing down the beach and no one was around it for miles.  Of course, I picked it up and had a nice dinner later that evening.  It is so fun when you find money you never expect to find.

There is one place here in Santa Rosa Beach called Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor and I think they did just for me.  They super glued a quarter to the floor. I was pretty embassed when I tried to pick that one up.  We all had a good laugh.

Have a great day.

Kelly
