I was having issues will Countrywide, as I know we all have within the Short Sale industry, when a friendly neighborhood loss mitigator at a different bank(name with held for privacy issues) gave me a "Bat Phone" number. He has been in the industry for many years and has quite the roladex. This number cut through all the BS with customer service and got me to a live person. She gave me updates on all the files I have been working with Counrtywide. I had just submitted one of them days prior and I thought it was amazing that within hours of calling this number I got a call for the BPO. The BPO was completed and we got and answer by the end of the week. The first few deals I did with Countrywide were thorns in my side but this has been a breeze.
I also have notice a few bank willing to communicate through email now and those deals move through the pipeline much quicker. Please give me your comments so we can all get these Short Sales done.
