Retailers are getting desperate

By
Real Estate Agent with Treanor Real Estate

When I got my mail today I received this coupon from Bath and Body Works (not sure how they got my address since I don't remember ever buying anything there).  I have never seen a business giving something away for free that is more expensive then the item you have to buy.  How is that transaction supposed to work if I go to the register with a $10 item and a $13 item?  I am supposed to tell the person that I want to pay for the one that is $10 and that I want the $13 one for free?

Excuse my poorly scanned copy of the coupon.

Well, you're right that is a little confusing. But I guess it seems like a good deal.
