If you'd like to buy real estate in Port Orange FL, then you'll be interested in this post. I just recently posted the 3rd quarter 2008 real estate listings and sales for Daytona Beach, and the 3rd quarter real estate listings and sales info for all of Volusia County. This post is my continuance of the 3rd quarter real estate market reports of each city in Volusia county; this one is for Port Orange.
I've written many blog posts about the beautiful city of Port Orange. Here are just a couple...
For the 3rd quarter of 2008, there were 336 new listings entered into the Daytona Beach area Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for the city of Port Orange. Some of these listings were actually houses or condos that had not sold, and when their previous listing agreements had expired, they were re-entered into the MLS as new listings. So although there were 336 houses and condos entered into the Daytona Beach area MLS in the 3rd quarter, not all of them were new listings.
As I've been researching and posting these reports each quarter, as well as annually, Port Orange has fared better than many of the other cities in Volusia County. The same held true once again, when I researched the 3rd quarter results for Port Orange. During the 3rd quarter of 2008, there were 155 sales in Port Orange. This is a much better ratio than the Daytona Beach 3rd quarter results of 466 listings vs 122 sales.
