Our first snow fall Nov. 21, 2008 here in Arbutus, Maryland - Baltimore County.
Not too sure how long it will last or how much we will get. It would be nice to see snow on the ground for the Holidays this year!

Yay- I love snow! Actually, I take that back. I have a love/hate relationship with snow. It's pretty and fun until is delays me from work, activities, etc... So, yay for the pretty snow, until it reaches 10 inches and turns to ice! Thank goodness for snow tires!!
It IS fun, I totally agree, to have snow during the holidays. It just isn't the same on Christmas is snow isn't on the ground! And it is even more of a fun surprise on Thanksgiving!

Nikki - Today we experienced our second round of flurries for the season in Raleigh. There was no accumulation, so nothing most would get excited about. But I don't think I've ever seen a flake before Thanksgiving, so my three-year old and I were a little excited. I was born and raised in Eastern NC, so I've always considered myself snow-deprived.
Nicole - I bet you get a lot of snow in Washington State... My ex husband lives in Spokan Washington. Our son flys out to vist him during the holidays and the photos he brings back of the area are so pretty! Both in the Winter and the Summer time.
Tracy - Looks like we were only getting flurries as well... the snow stuck to the ground for a little while but now its gone and the flurries are too.... :( Oh well....
Snow what is that? We see snow once about every 20 years and it's only a sprinkle. Maybe this year we will see some. Happy Thanksgiving.
That amount of snow might have shut the Atlanta area down. Of course we will take any opportunity to take a day off. I'll be looking for my snow day.
Let me know where to send it. I'm going to start a send your snow to Nikki campaign. I would love to avoid all the white stuff this year.
Jack
Hey Jack.... I love that campaign idea!!! I bet you get a lot of snow there in Ohio!
Hi Nikki, thanks for subscribing to my blog----I will do the same to you. (As a side note. The original name of the Residential Home Inspection Course that I teach part of, used to be owned by the Arbutus Inspection Training Group:)
Well, here in Akron Ohio, we have about 6-8" on the ground right now, and supposedly, more on the way. Makes inspecting roofs, sidewalks and exteriors a real treat.
