While the rest of the world seems topsy turvey and the financial markets provide hourly whiplash, life here in Buena Vista seems uncommonly quiet and peaceful. Property sales are down this year, but values are holding. We are still listing and selling properties and life really is quite good. It's as if up at this elevation, we are afforded the priviledge of watching the rest of the world do what it does without being sucked into the drama. Being involved in drama is always a choice, but it just seems easier to avoid from this lofty perch.
