EAGLES POINT
Spring must finally have arrived. My phone has started ringing with people asking questions about lake lots, and others are letting their fingers do the walking on Google and checking out real estate web sites.
First sign of spring, for me, was seeing a dead armadillo on the road today. Spring was again confirmed when I spotted a Ruby Throated Hummingbird at my window, so it's time to get the feeders out. Maybe spring is coming back (for the second time this year), after our first false spring, then the nasty deep freeze.
Went for a boat ride this afternoon - sunny and 72 - perfect weather. There is a new development being started in the Shell Knob area. It is called Eagles Point. I drove around it this week, and went to see it by water today. As a Shell Knob Realtor, I like to check new developments out for my clients. This looks like it is well planned and will produce many fine homes in the beautifull wooded area. I also happened to see the new community boat dock being delivered for the development's future residents.
There are 40 lots in Eagles Point. Waterfront lots will sell for $79,900. Second tier interior lots are priced at $39,900.
The developers are planning a big open house and kick-off for lot sales the week end of May 5 & 6.
