I have been to a couple of these, years ago. The Rhinelander was always a favorite, worth driving to Portland for. The Benson is a fine old hotel. Great list Timothy.

Good choices Timothy.  I've been to 5, maybe 6 or these that I can remember.  My husband and I lived in Portland from around 1991-96.

Mint is excellent!  Food and drinks are good and unique.  I like that you need to know where it is just to go.  21st Ave Bar and Grill is also really good, especially their outdoor seating in the back when it's nice out.

Tony and Libby  I agree, I love all these places. I have had another business up in the NW area for 20 years and we always look for fun spot to eat.  Now I am thinking of Sunday Brunches and I have only come up with 4 . That is sad I like to cook at home so much that I hardly go out for sunday brunch.

I only have one happy hour that I go to: On The Border. All day Sunday is happy "hour." The raspberry swirl margaritas are the best!
