Just How Much Do You Want To Spend???

By
Real Estate Agent with Frank Rubi Real Estate

On the Internet that is.  In this economy of decaying returns one has to ration his or her advertising budget.  I prefer to use as many free sites as possible.  Among these are active rain, freesapce, myspace and point2point.  I may not have the prettiest site but I have procured several leads with them.  I have closed three sale to date.

Can anyone justify to me or prove to me that an expensive website generates more closings?

Hi John,

I'm a newer agent and don't have much of an advertising budget, so I try and take advantage of the free stuff when I can.  I do think it's important to have a visually pleasing site, but I am also an artist, so I might be more particualr than most!  Different people are attracted to different things, so in the end it's how you market and present yourself.

However, I think a tracking system on your personal website can be valuable information on what free sites are working to drive traffic back to you.  Plus, it's fun to see what is working and what is not.  So far, other agents have given the best tips.

John, I spend most of my time and marketing on the free stuff.  Not on expensive sites.
