The Best Furniture Placement Website Ever!

By
Real Estate Agent with Front Gate Real Estate Broker 11085

I am in the process of buying yet another home. I have no idea how many homes I've owned, but suffice it to say, I move a LOT.

Just like our buyer clients, I want to be sure that my existing furniture works in the new space. However, I am compulsive about it. Despite my many moves, I've always obsessed whether everything will fit and how it will look. So this morning I looked on-line for a website that would help me arrange the furniture in a functional but attractive method without using a lot of muscle.

I hit the jackpot with this site from Bob's Discount Furniture. By going to their room planner, you can customize your room size as well as select the size of your sofa, love seat, occasional pieces, TVs, etc. You can add plants, rugs, room dividers, candles, whatever you want! You can do EVERY ROOM IN YOUR HOUSE! This is the best furniture arranging tool I've seen and is very user friendly.Pat Starnes, Metro Jackson, MS Realtor

Anyone who is moving can benefit from this tool. You'll know EXACTLY where the furniture is going BEFORE the movers get there, saving yourself tons of stress.

I love it. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Pat, thank you for the tip!  And I should emulate you with your frequent moves.  I've been in the same place for 25 years and have a lot of stuff I need to lose!

I think this would be a very good tool for buyers.  I will have to check out how it works.  Obviously you have to have the right room size as well as the right size of all your furniture.  I guess I just need to check it out.

Pat K.: That's one reason I move so often...every two years I HAVE to clean house. It's also beneficial for tax purposes!  ~Pat

Troy: It works. The room planner is easy, and I have a floor plan that gives me room dimensions, so it was no trouble at all to arrange my furniture. Thanks for stopping by! ~Pat

Craig: Thank you for stopping by and looking at the furniture placement link. It is FREE to use.

Laurie: It is fun and works great!

Tanya: On second thought, it may not be "the best", but it is free! If you have others, would you send them to me? I saw Lowe's had one, but this one seems easier.

Thanks to each of you for reading my blog, and Happy Thanksgiving! ~Pat

Thanks for sharing - I have seen some websites that show your tile selection or paint color on a photograph.  I am wondering whether anyone has seen software that allows customers to do so on a photo that you have provided (ie. photo of a new home) as a part of the selection process.

Fro your listings you might try Obeo SpaceDesigner.  You can put the floorplan online for buyers to play with.
