Sooner For Some Than Others

By
Services for Real Estate Pros

Everybody puts in their time (well, some do). Everybody works hard (most of the time).  Everybody believes that they will be successful (at least some do).   Why is it that some reach levels of success they plan for and others seem to putter along just getting by?

This is not an easy question to answer.  What I can say is that if we all were at the same level of success it wouldn't be success.  The norm would just be at a higher level.  There is this word called "breakthrough" that allows those who get to higher levels of personal success.  Breakthrough comes to those who keep after it until "it" changes.

The sooner we see the breakthrough on the horizon the more we should keep pressing in for the victorious outcome.  Those who get breakthroughs are looking for breakthrough.  Oh yeah Cedric.  Aren't they just lucky?  They might very be a bit lucky.  But I will tell you this.  Luck comes to those who prepare more than anybody else to receive what others aren't ready for.  If that's luck, I am one of the luckiest men on the planet.

For years people have said to me, "Ced, you are so lucky. You seem to have everything fall in your lap."  The truth is that I have spent years preparing for breakthrough.  I have always looked for breakthrough in every season of my life.  There has never been a time when I got a glimpse of breakthrough coming that I didn't get the breakthrough I anticipated.

The ones who get to levels of success sooner than others are always looking for breakthrough.  And once they get it they are looking for the next one.

Keep looking for your breakthrough.

Cedric, love that "Breakthrough" motivational speech!  You are RIGHT that success looks easy but is a long and arduous process, involving hard work.  Paul Abdul said she was a "10-year instant success story"!

To succeed in this life you really have to want it, and those that want it the most, usually get it.

Great post Cedric!  I feel exactly the same way.  I have worked more hours in our office than anyone else and some of them are surprised I am busy in this down market.  I see where the business is headed and that is where I am going!  You inspired me to keep on keeping on.  Even those of us that are always looking for the breakthrough get tired!

Excellent!

I am a seed planter.  I plant LOTS of seeds.  I know many seeds don't take root and grow.  But with enough water, fertilizer and yes, even a little love, my garden will flourish!!

Thanks for the morning inspiration!
