Mobile Notary State of Alabama at Large

Mortgage and Lending with Holt Notary Services

Mobile Notaries can really be underpaid.  I have working in the real estate business for a while but now am a full time Mobile Notary I love the work and the people that I have met.  One problem expansion!  Anyone out there have any ideas?  I would love to work for a bank doing closings, Title companies, or real estate companies. I have joined some websites but the work is to inconsistent.  I have been lucky lately I had two closings yesterday one today and one tomorrow.  Please excuse my first blog I am new at this.  I am a member of the American Association of Notaries.

You picked a great place to network. Incidentally, my wonderful wife is a native of Alabama and I have plenty of connections there through family. I will be sure to keep you in mind if something comes up.

Welcome to AR.

You are competing with escrow companies and title companies who do notary "in-house" to generate some income for their employees.  Tough environment.

Great idea.  Do you have a sign on your car for advertising?  I think the market is different in all locations.  I think notaries only get $5 or $10 here for a simple notary stamp but I hear that there are other markets that are much better.

I think it's a great time to be a notary.  I am very busy in California with loan signings.  After 6 years, I finally started working directly with a lender and boy what a difference it has made.  I just got lucky.  Someone in the lender's office googled me and I've been busy every since.  If you can get your foot in the door with at least one or two lenders, title or escrow companies, it will be worth your while.  It's not easy, but it can be done.  Don't give up!  Get your name out there on the internet.

Also, I think a lot of signing companies have also gone out of business because I've started to get calls directly from lenders and title companies.  So I'm excited!

Best of luck to you!
