I was doing coaching and goal setting with some of the Realtors I work with this past week and it completely blew my mind when I told them they needed to know their break even goal before they could began to figure their profit goal and most of them didn't know what I was talking about! How can top producers still be blowing the market away and have no clue of their expenses and how much they are paying out each month. So this got me to wondering, how many people actually do goal setting and preparing for the next year. How many Realtors actually have a bottom dollar figure they can name off the top of their head of how much they need to make each month to keep the systems rolling?
I actually had one Realtor tell me she wouldn't know her expenses for this year until after taxes are filed next year and she wasn't going to the trouble of trying to figure it out herself! Wow! This person is actually a great Realtor and business person so that one especially got me. Where do you guys stand on this? I have been doing goal setting with Realtors or so long it never occurred to me that not everyone does it! This business still continues to amaze me everyday!
