The Three Pillars for Real Estate Career Success – A Bookworm Meme

By
Real Estate Agent
(Note: This might look like a duplicate post. However, that DARN Turkey that Brad was able to corner did some havoc on my most recent post. Hence....Here it is again! Enjoy!)

Are you tired of reading through all of the Bookworm Memes? If so, you might enjoy my contribution to the new/recycled ActiveRain fad.

What is a Bookworm Meme?

Here are six things you must do:

  • 1. Grab the nearest book.
  • 2. Open the book to page 56.
  • 3. Find the fifth sentence.
  • 4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
  • 5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. Pick the Closest.
  • 6. Tag five people to do the same

What was my result of following these six steps..........VIDEO!!!

To review.....

4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.

"In other words, pursue short-term and long-term goals at the same time. To have your best year plus a great career requires both. Lead generation effectiveness is the one true building block of all successful real estate careers and while its goal is always immediate business that is usually best accomplished through a dual focus on present and future business."

6. Tag five people to do the same - This is the hardest part! Who hasn't been tagged?

How about these five ActiveRain Family Members:

Jaclyn Erwin, ABR - Charlotte, NC

Tim Ludemann - Estero, FL

Darla Jensen - Crosslake, MN

Mike Wong Realtor, GRI - Sugar Land, TX

Greg Worley (my Market Center buddy) - Keller Williams Columbia SC

Awesome excerpt! This AR fad is going on forever but it's fun to see the type of books and messages that come out of it. The first book I found had a blank page 56. I don't know what that means!! :/ Thanks for sharing, Nicole Weidauer The Egerer & Weidauer Team, Keller Williams Realty North Seattle P.S. The video is awesome- Glad you got it to work!!

Okay. you asked for it, you got it. I like the idea, it's clever. The book that I had was filled with mostly useless knowledge, unless of course you're studying for Jeopardy or trivial pursuit.  Interesting nonetheless.

David - The closest book to me right now is "The Chamber" by John Grisham. Page 56, fifth line reads: "Daniel, perhaps you shouldn't advise this young man to ignore the press". Hmm, how's that for timing?

Once you have an engine in place to process transactions from leads, the focus must be on lead generation to fuel the engine!
