Yesterday I joined friends for a bike ride along Hwy. 30A. What fun. Highway 30A is a scenic 19 mile stretch of bike trails and old Florida atmosphere. Height limits on Hwy. 30A are 50 feet and it is so nice not to have to worry about high density and high rises here. It is very scenic with lots of coastal dune lakes and lazily follows the Gulf of Mexico in the Panhandle. If you have never been here, you ought to make it a priority of places in the U.S. to visit. It is breath taking.
We stopped at the Red Bar in Grayton Beach first and had two Bud Lights there. They had an afternoon bluegrass band in there and that was lively. The place was packed for a Saturday afternoon. Next stop was Rollie Poly in Seaside. The beers there are much cheaper than at Bud and Alleys and you can walk out the back door and sit under the little pavillion over looking the Gulf of Mexico. Very nice. I think that was a 2 Bud Light stop as well. Next stop the Hurricane Oyster Bar. Another two Bud Lights and some chicken wings and then back home again. Guess that is why they call me 6 pack Kelly, ha. LOL Now I am on my way out the door to the gym.
I hope you had a nice day yesterday. The weather here has been wonderful lately.
