Being In the Right Place @ The Right Time

By

How many times have you heard somebody say I was just in the "right place at the right time?"  If you are like me you have probably heard it more than a few times in your life.  It's all about "preparation meeting opportunity."  It might seem like you might be spinning your wheels and things are not going anywhere.  The key is to be sure you are learning something everyday so that when the right opportunity comes along you will be able to recognize it. This is being at the right place at the right time.

Preparation is the cornerstone of the success of those who know that opportunity rarely comes to those who just sit around and "wish" it would show up.  The ideal opportunities take the most preparation.  Why would you trust yourself with something that is so awesome without being prepared to handle the multiplied benefits that come with it.  Nobody wants to lose what they have worked hard to achieve.  That's why they take the time to understand the ins and outs of maintaining success once it is achieved.

Here's a closing note.  For the most part, There is not much talk of being at the "wrong place at the wrong time."  Most often people just settle for being in the wrong place at the wrong time as their lot in life.  I beg to differ.  I think that places that seem wrong in our lives are places of preparation for a marvelous future.  Places that seem like the wrong places to be can be the stepping stones to higher ground.  Places that seem like the wrong places to be can be the launching pad to greatness.

No matter where we are in life, preparation will eventually meet opportunity.  I can guarantee you that if you prepare long enough and learn all that is necessary you will meet opportunities that will make your hair stand on end.

little preparation = little opportunities. BIG PREPARATION = BIG OPPORTUNITIES.

Keep preparing yourself,

I am looking for a few people who have done big preparation and are ready for their next opportunity.  If you know anybody like that send them my direction.  Thanks...

My motto is you can never be too prepared for anything.  I like your way of thinking!

That's how I think "positive thinking" works. It gets you more prepared, and more likely to see opportunies, more likely to be "in the right place at the right time".

And in my experience, people use the "wrong place at the wrong time" as an excuse- it isn't my fault- I was just in the wrong place wrong time.

Cedric - good post. In fact, one of the best things to do if business is slow is prepare yourself for future opportunities.
