The interface on the iPhone's touch screen is amazing, but I've found that there's a substantial segment of iPhone users who don't even know some of the basics, so I thought I'd share a few of the simple features that will greatly improve your iPhone experience.
One of the things I think makes surfing the internet on the iPhone so much better than many of the other mobile browsers is the zoom feature. This same zoom feature also works on photos, email, and maps. Here's a quote from the iPhone manual:
Zooming In or Out: When viewing photos, webpages, email, or maps, you can zoom in and out. Pinch your fingers together or apart. For photos and webpages, you can double-tap (tap twice quickly) to zoom in, then double-tap again to zoom out. For maps, double-tap to zoom in and tap once with two fingers to zoom out.
