Ok guys, so this week I wanted to blog about some of the reading that I have been doing in this great book "Your First Home" by Gary Keller with Dave Jenks and Jay Papasan. This book is packed full of information on first time home ownership and gives you all kinds of great use full information that is very easy for any one to understand and use. The first chapter in the book is all about the decision to buy your first home and why it is and can be such a good one. Gary Keller provides an assortment of many great facts and fears that you may come across with the purchase of your first home and he answers many important questions that have to do with when to buy and should you buy in this market.
This wonderful book talks about all of the financial benefits of buying a new home including equity buildup, value appreciation, and tax benefits. This is a great book and I strongly recommend it to anyone looking to buy now or in the future. You will learn about the market and what it means to you and your investment, building equity, and you will discover and learn about many factual statistics from reputable sources such as the National Board of Realtors and The U.S Federal reserve board just to name a few.
The Book also talks about buying versus renting and shows you in detail how much money you can actually save through interest and tax deductions. Overall, this book is a wonderful tool and I am so glad that I have taken the time to read it. It definitely justifies what I always say to my clients and that is that "It is always a good time to invest your money into real estate...........You just have to find that GREAT BUY and you will pave the way for your continued wealth in the future"
