Valerie Spaulding finally got me.
This is one MeMe I actually like. As it happened, my closest book is success@life by the ministers of the Republic of Tea - Ron Rubin and Stuart Avery Gold, a book given to me as a Christmas present by one of my dearest friends. I was rereading it as inspiration. The subtitle is fabulous, "A Zenpreneur's Guide How to Catch and Live Your Dream". So, turn to page 56,
It's very brief, but rather telling...uncanny how these things happen. Val.
"Chapter Three Find a Mentor It takes one to know one"
That's it. The quote is shown on the opposite page 52 in Chinese and is attributed to Lao Shi. I love his quotes!.. How lucky is that?
So my take on this is this, after all the fabulous friends I have recently met and remet on AR, all I have to do is log on for mentorship. It's all there for the taking...you might have to dig a bit, but you'll find whatever you need here. Friends and mentors like Val, and too many others to mention, Richard Weisser, Amanda Hall, Jeff Turner, Brad Andersohn, Andrew (gone but not forgotten), Susan M., Midori, a couple of Charles and many other wild and tame others who all keep me sane and good to go each morning, tech support, marketing, amazing photography, and new opinions and ideas to stretch yourself. And, I hope that I have contributed to others' education as well. I give thanks to be alive and kicking and to have another year to be thankful on Thursday. Keep it going, my friends!
I'm tagging some newer members for their voices on the Rain:
and others I need to get to know better
Thanks for the memories and MeMes.
