Most real-estate professionals work as independent contractors. This gives them the freedom to pick and choose how they go about their business. In some cases their broker or brand may provide some tools or systems to help increase productivity, but there are usually many other tools that a real-estate professional can still choose from.
Many Options
Just from looking at advertisements on this site one can find many different offerings that claim to make you more productive, generate leads, and in general help your business. Some of these tools likely have little benefit others may have great benefits. One common theme is that every tool has a cost associated with it. Economics states, if the value of the tool is greater than the cost one would purchase it. However there are many offerings that would “make rain” for a real-estate professional yet they go largely unused.
The reasons
What is the reason for this? Could there be a degree of uncertainty about a tool that it will not at least return a value equal to the cost? Or might there be a more deep seeded issue common to life, unwillingness to change.
