Thanksgiving, what I am giving thanks for, what about you?

Real Estate Agent with The Bean Group

Thanksgiving is that time of year for me to reflect what I am most thankful for.  The Pilgrims celebrated the first Thanksgiving to give thanks for the bounty they had harvested and as a way their community to come together. Today we come together as family and friends to celebrate this tradition, so in this spirit here is what I am thankful for:

1) I have a wonderful wife, three boys, my mother and two dogs living with me in a nice house in a wonderful neighborhood.

2) We all have our health.

3) We have great friends who we care about and who care about us.

4) I love my job and enjoy helping people.

5) I've reconnected with a nephew I lost contact with and he is over my house for this Thanksgiving.

6) I'm almost 46 and still have all my own hair!!

There are more things that I could probably list, but these five items are the things I'm mostly thankful for, so what are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for my family and my health and my relationship with Christ.  I'm the most blessed man on the face of the earth.

Now, more than ever we need to show gratitude and thanks for all of the gifts that we have and stop whining about what we don't have.  Your post tells me that you are thankful for the most important things in life - family - friends - health.

I too am grateful for my loving family, my friends, my job and above all the good health to enjoy all of the above and my belief in God.

I am also grateful for the sacrifices that were made by those before me to enable me to enjoy what I have today in the beautiful USA.

I am thankful that even with two rodes and nineteen bolts in his back , my son is still at the top of the J. V. cross country team!

Tami, I flinched when I read your comment. As a parent I cannot imagine what you went through when your son's injury occurred. I am glad to hear he is doing great on his JV team.

How many grey hairs have your children caused you, mine have caused quite a few and I would not have it any other way!
