Laurel Court is located at the corner of Belmont and Oakwood Avenues in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati. Designed by James Gamble Rogers for local paper magnate Peter G. Thomson, the residence is one of Cincinnati's most impressive homes.
The beaux-arts structure includes 36 rooms, 20,000 square feet of living space and an atrium with a removable glass dome.
Once the home of Archbishops John T. McNicholas and Karl J. Alter of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and until 1990 the corporate office of local pizza favorite LaRosa's, it is now a private residence.
The current owners, offer special events and tours from time to time, so check out the Laurel Court Website for more information.
