I am Thankful For....My First Active Rain Closing...Among Many Other Things

I woke up this morning thankful for so many things: 

  • The nasty cold that kept me down yesterday seems to be just about gone!
  • A soft, warm bed to crawl into every nightThanksgiving
  • Clean water to drink
  • Plenty of food to eat
  • A roof over my head
  • Many friends
  • A great husband and son
  • A job I love
  • Good Health
  • To Live in America
  • Freedom
  • Love

This time last year, I had no idea what a blog was.  This week, I closed my first sale from Active Rain to a nice couple looking to buy their first home.  They had read one of my articles about being a first time home buyer.  They needed a bit of help with their credit situation and once the lender I sent them to helped them get it all ironed out, we were set.  We found a cute little home and they are moving in this holiday weekend.

I a thankful for Active Rain.  Not just for the lead but for the community and the friends I have made here!

One of my favorite quotes, "Be grateful for what you have or nothing good can come into your life". I don't remember where I heard it first, but it certainly is the truth!

I will probably have to miss the Moran Team this year at the conventions.  San Antonio is close... If a miracle happens than that one is pretty doable...  We will see.

Cristal - Great quote ! And a great AR success story !  I think you and I are pretty similar in that I knew what a blog was (at least I think I did) but had little interest in doing one and now we both have blogs and are getting leads and deals from our efforts !  That is awesome, congrats on your client and the deal that closed.  A great list to be thankful for !!! Thanksgiving is such a great holiday.
