I try to live my life in a way that expresses gratitude. I try to live without regrets, and to remember to slow down and remember the small things. The crazy, hectic and stressful world we all live in sometimes makes it really difficult. That's why Thanksgiving is one of those days that I really love, because I can spend time focusing on what I am thankful for.
I'm thankful that although I had a bout of crippling arthritis at a young age, there was a surgical option that could relieve my pain and give me my life back. Not everyone that has health problems when they are young are as lucky. This year, I am most thankful for this.
There are a lot of other things I am thankful for today:
My husband and his continued good health.
My father-in-law and his miraculous recovery after brain surgery.
My loving family that never wavers in their support for me.
My sisters and brother - they helped shape me into the person I am today.
The ability to have a career I absolutely love.
Nancy - my business partner. She keeps me sane.
The best month of my real estate career.
The roof over my head, the clothes on my back and the food on our Thanksgiving table.
I'm also thankful for all of the kind people here at Active Rain. Robert Swetz always makes my day with his wonderful photography. Gary Woltal with his posts of inspiration. Broker Bryant... he's so generous with his knowledge. Pamela Williamson with fabulous local content. Don Rogers - I love his blog because you never know what you are going to read about next. I'm thankful for each and every member here - your generosity in sharing your business ideas, prospecting tips and your lives in general is a great gift you give to everyone here. Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
