Mt. Healthy

By
Real Estate Agent with Star One Realtors

The city of Mount Healthy has a unique history. Originally founded in 1817, as the Village of Mount Pleasant, it renamed itself Mount Healthy in 1850, following a cholera epidemic. Many of the original citizens survived the epidemic and attributed the miracle to the fresh air provided by the location of their village.

Today Mount Healthy has a vibrant business district. You can enjoy the many shops in the village on Hamilton Avenue. Some of the shops include antiques, jewelry, gifts and more.

If you'd like to call this Cincinnati neighborhood home, contact me for all your real estate needs. I'm here to help make your dream of home ownership a reality.

Marketing Naples FL  This information is very interesting. I didn't even know there was a Mt. Healthy and I have never been to Cincinnati. I have been to Cleveland (I wanted to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and to the Cleveland Indians stadium) and to Sanduski (Two words: Cedar Point).

Cholera? Reminds me of my favorite book (recently turned into movie) Love in the Time of Cholera.  Don't recommend it for the non-romantics.

Thank you for your post!
