Library Redesign - Using the owners art to work for you!

Real Estate Agent with Realty Associates - Elite Properties

I had a wonderful time getting this project off the ground. It required all the elements I enjoy doing the most: consulting, planning, shopping, and execution. My clients were very please with the final outcome.

This project required using what the homeowner already owned and I utilized it in a different manner. They are collectors of African art and had more than enough pieces around their home that were useful in completing this project. Initially, I thought that I would need to purchase books to give it a full, robust feel of a traditional library. However, I did not need to secure additional books and preferred the less crowded feel that created warmth and invitation to the space. . I finished the space with storage items to take care of any loose pamphlets and magazines. Please check out some of my before & after pictures below.

The finished bookshelves are beautiful!  Was this project a staging to prepare the home for sale or did the homeowner hire you for staging a more polished look in their home for living? It really looks great!

The owners hired me to redesign their library knowing I had a staging business. I believe that it was a project that they could not fit into their hectic schedules.

Thanks for the compliment!

It looks superb.   Library's and office do not have to show only books.  That 's such a mistake.

The way you showed the art and books is great.
