Rosita Colorado

Tucked away in the Wet Mountains is the small town of Rosita. Once part of the silver and gold boom of Colorado, today an expanding residential area that's a little out of the way. Rosita is approx 15 miles from WestCliffe and 15 miles from Wetmore. But if you want expansive views, privacy and the ability to see the stars at night or animal watch during the day this is the place you want to be. The Sangre de Cristo mountain range can frame your windows with the right planning.

This property off of Good Hope Drive was well worth the drive today dispite the late spring snow shower this morning.

Dena ~ Rosita is a beautiful place!  I just love the way the mountains look from there.  WestCliffe is another cool town.  I bet it must be growing too.

Dena- That looks like an amazing place to build a wonderful house. I've never been to that area and I'm a native. It's time for a road trip.

It is a really really pretty area. Go on a road trip, but don't go if there is even a chance of snow and watch for monsters, er......deer.
