Look What The Neighbors Started!

I could see the look in my husbands eye's as the neighbors put up Christmas lights. He was thinking "Great, Now I'm going to have to do it." Not that he doesn't like Christmas, Its just one more chore and one more expense.

So Off we went to Home-Depot. We found something we both could feel good about. Solar Christmas lights! Who Knew? We don't have worry about turning them off and on and there is no extra cost on our electric bill! I am by no means the Green Queen, but I do believe that if we take a little we should give back.

Green Queen, I like that... yes you are, for setting the example in your neighborhood and just becoming conscious. We all just need to be a little more conscious and we'll make huge strides in this effort to save money and save resources.

Well the lights are working out and it has been fun to tell all my neighbors how we are using solar Christmas lights. No surprise electric bill in January. Another nice thing is they turn themselves on and off!
