I swear this is true! A friend of ours from another occupation of mine years ago called me. My wife is getting her real estate license, can she work with your company? I remembered meeting her, she was very personable so we met and agreed we would hold her license once she finished the course and passed the state test. She did all that in 6 weeks, so we sent her a couple leads on a Friday. One of them was coming in to town on Monday and we sent her a list of homes as the agent was not in the MLS system yet. Monday morning comes around and she calls me, I do not have a lock box key yet, can I borrow yours? No, but I'll come with you. She picked me up and we met the client at a hotel. Immediately she established a repoire with the woman, and we started out looking at homes. Now get this, the second home we see she says this is it, this is what I am looking for (!!!!????). So we go on to the next home and she says, no need to see anymore, that second home is the one we want. OOOOOK, you said we? What about your partner? Oh my husband? I'll just call him and describe it, he'll do whatever I like (!!!!????). We would like to close in 30 days, our home is sold. After a couple days the deal was done, after the closing the new agent said to me, wow, this is easy, I should have started doing this a long time ago! I could have choked her right there and then...
